The Cone Zone started back in 1993 by brothers John and William (Bill) Goff.  The two brothers owned and operated the establishment together up until Bills passing in 2016.

 

 In 2018 John decided he would sell the business and retire. But before John did that, he wanted to find someone trustworthy to continue with the business. This is where Deborah AKA “Debb” came into the picture. Debb had been working on and off for the brothers since high school. She was always driven, business oriented, and had a passion for the Ice Cream world.

 

Debb knew the business and the recipes used for the two brothers ice cream. These are the same recipes we still use to this day.

 

Debb had always dreamed of owning her own business, always working multiple jobs to achieve the dream. In the winter of 2018, her dream would become reality. John approached her with the idea of selling her the business. She was ecstatic about the idea and gathered all her savings and went all in.

 

On January 1st, 2019, the Cone Zone reopened with Debb to take the business to the next chapter as the new owner and operator. The Cone Zone has always been a family owned and operated business and will continue that way with Debbs daughters helping behind the counter from time to time.

 

The Cone Zone has since expanded into the mobile ice cream business with the addition of their new truck which is now available for parties, weddings, and special events.
